The short version

PDFluent is an offline-first application. Your PDF documents are processed locally on your device and are never sent to our servers. We don't collect, store, or have access to your documents.

Data we collect

The PDFluent desktop application collects no data by default. If you opt into crash reporting or analytics, we collect only anonymous usage data with no document content.

Storage

If you use the BYOS (Bring Your Own Storage) feature, your files are synced directly to your chosen storage provider. PDFluent acts as a client and never stores your data on our infrastructure unless you explicitly use PDFluent Managed Storage.

EU jurisdiction

PDFluent is an EU-based company. The US Cloud Act does not apply to us. Your data is protected under GDPR.
